The origin of Devas, Daityas & Danavas

In Sanatan, the Saptarishi, also known as the Seven Sages or Seven Rishis, are a group of seven ancient sages who played a significant role in shaping the course of human civilization and preserving the sacred knowledge of the Vedas. They are considered the mind-born sons of Lord Brahma, and are believed to be immortal.

One of the seven is Rishi Kashyapa, also known as Kashyap or Kasyapa. He is a revered sage in Hindu mythology, and one of the Saptarishis, the seven great sages. He is considered one of the most prominent rishis in Hindu tradition and has contributed to various aspects of Hindu cosmology, spirituality, and Ayurveda. Kashyapa is known for his multiple marriages and progeny with various celestial beings. One of his notable marriages was with the thirteen (13) daughters of Prajapati Daksha, a powerful patriarch in Hindu mythology. Aditi, the eldest daughter, bore him the Devas. Diti bore him the Daityas. And Danu bore him the Danavas.
